Day-01

• Arrival in Colombo International Airport and meet with our representative
• Transfer to Negambo – 20 minutes drive approximately
• Tour briefing by Golden Island Tours representative
• Overnight stay in Negombo

Day-02

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Transfer to Anawilundawa Wetlands Bird Sanctuary – 02 hours drive approximately
  Afternoon bird watching in Anawilundawa Wetlands which is one of the two most important birding sites in Sri Lanka named by RAMSAR. In Anawilundawa Wetlands you would be able to see birds types such as Cormorants, Ducks, Egrets, Herons, Storks, Eagles, Terns, Swallows, Swifts, Kingfishers and other Resident birds
• Overnight stay in Mannar

Day-03

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Morning bird watching in Mannar beach and lagoon area where you would be able to see birds such as Waders, Migratory birds, Resident birds, Terns, Ducks, Gulls, Flamingos during the migratory season, Frigate birds, Boobies, Eagles, Cormorants, Snipers, Plovers, Sandpipers, Noddies and Skuas
• Transfer to Wilpattuwa National Park – 03 hours drive approximately
• On the way visit Thanthirimale ruins and surrounding lakes for bird watching to see Waterbirds and Resident birds
• Overnight stay in Wilpattuwa

Day-04

• Full day safari in Wilpattuwa National Park with picnic meals from 06:00 to 18:00 to see Endemic birds, Eagles, Waterbirds, and Other Resident birds
• Overnight stay in Wilpattuwa

Day -05

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Transfer to Sigiriya – 021/2 hours drive approximately
  On the way visit near lakes of Kekirawa to see some Waterbirds and Resident birds
  Afternoon bird watching in Sigiriya Sanctuary to see Endemic birds, Migratory birds, Resident birds, Eagles, Waterbirds, Swifts, Swallows, and Falcons
• A late evening walk in Habarana jungle to see Nocturnal birds such as Owls and Night Jars. Optionally visit Popham’s Arboretum in Dambulla to see Slender Loris
• Overnight stay in Habarana

Day-06

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Morning bird watching in Sigiriya Sanctuary to see Endemic birds, Migratory birds, Resident birds, Eagles, Waterbirds, Swifts, Swallows, and Falcons
• Transfer to Kandy – 02 hours drive approximately
• A walk-in Peradeniya Botanical Garden to see Parrots, Pigeons, Woodpeckers, Barbets, Bulbuls, Warblers, Sunbirds, Flowerpeckers, Loras and Flycatchers
• Overnight stay in Kandy

Day-07

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Morning walk in Udawattakale Sanctuary in Kandy to see Parrots, Pigeons, Woodpeckers, Barbets, Bulbuls, Warblers, Sunbirds, Flowerpeckers and Flycatchers
• Transfer to Nuwara Eliya – 03 hours drive approximately
• Bird watching walk in Victoria Park in Nuwara Eliya to see birds such as Parrots, Pigeon, Sunbirds, Flowerpeckers, Flycatchers, Chats, Thrushes, Warblers and Wagtails
• Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya

Day-08

• Transfer to Horton Plains National Park at 05:00 – 011/2 hours drive approximately
• Early morning bird watching walk with picnic breakfast in Horton Plains National Park to see birds such as Pigeons, Parrots, Barbets, Minivets, Cisticolas, Prinias, Green Warblers, Thrushes, Chats, Flycatchers, Sunbirds, Flower Peckers, Bulbuls, and White Eyes
• Transfer back to Nuwara Eliya – 011/2 hours drive approximately
• Afternoon bird watching walk in Hakgala Botanical Garden to see birds such as Mynas, Bulbuls, Pigeons, Parrots, Woodpeckers, Shrikes, Blue Magpie, Drongos, Prinias, Warblers, Thrushes and Flycatchers
• Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya

Day-09

• Transfer to Kithulgala – 021/2 hours drive approximately
