Day-01

  • Arrival in Colombo International Airport and meet with our representative
  • Transfer to Negombo – 20 minutes drive approximately
  • Tour briefing by Golden Island Tours representative
  • Overnight stay in Negombo

Day-02

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Transfer to Sinharaja Rain Forest near Kudawa entrance – 03 hours drive approximately
  • Walk for bird watching in a bordering village of Sinharaja Rain Forest to see birds such as Warblers, Munias, Babblers, Monarch, Prinias, Mynas, Wagtails, Drongos, Oriols, Leafbirds, Nuthatches, Hornbills, Coucals, Pigeons, Woodpeckers, Barbets, Bulbuls, Sunbirds, Flowerpeckers, Blue Magpie, Owls and Flycatchers
  • Overnight stay in Sinharaja

Day-03

  • Full day bird watching walk in Sinharaja Rain Forest with picnic meals to see birds such as Warblers, Munias, Babblers, Monarch, Prinias, Mynas, Wagtails, Drongos, Oriols, Leafbirds, Monarchs, Trogons, Frogmouths, Nuthatches, Hornbills, Coucals, Pigeons, Woodpeckers, Barbets, Bulbuls, Sunbirds, Flowerpeckers, Blue Magpie and Flycatchers
  • Overnight stay in Sinharaja

Day-04

  • Breakfast at the hotel

Day -05

  • Transfer to Horton Plains National Park at 05:00 – 011/2 drive approximately
  • Early morning bird watching walk with picnic breakfast in Horton Plains National Park to see birds such as Pigeons, Parrots, Barbets, Minivets, Cisticolas, Prinias, Green Warblers, Thrushes, Chats, Flycatchers, Sunbirds, Flower Peckers, Bulbuls, and White Eyes
  • Transfer back to Nuwara Eliya – 011/2 drive approximately
  • Afternoon bird watching walk in Hakgala Botanical Garden to see birds such as Mynas, Bulbuls, Pigeons, Parrots, Woodpeckers, Shrikes, Blue Magpie, Drongos, Prinias, Warblers, Thrushes and Flycatchers
    Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya

Day-06

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning bird watching walk in Victoria Park in Nuwara Eliya to see birds such as Parrots, Pigeon, Sunbirds, Flowerpeckers, Flycatchers, Chats, Thrushes, Warblers and Wagtails
    Transfer to Habarana – 05 hours drive approximately
  • Overnight stay in Habarana

Day-07

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning jungle walk in Habarana to see birds such as Migratory birds, Resident birds, Eagles, Waterbirds, Swifts, Swallows, and Falcons
  • Late afternoon bird watching in Sigiriya Sanctuary to see Endemic birds, Migratory birds, Resident birds, Eagles, Waterbirds, Swifts, Swallows, and Falcons
  • A late evening walks in Habarana jungle to see Nocturnal birds such as Owls and Night Jars.
  • Overnight stay in Habarana

Day-08

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning bird watching in Sigiriya Sanctuary to see Endemic birds, Migratory birds, Resident birds, Eagles, Waterbirds, Swifts, Swallows, and Falcons
  • Transfer to Anawilundawa Wetlands Bird Sanctuary – 031/2 hours drive approximately
  • Afternoon bird watching in Anawilundawa Wetlands which is one of the two most important birding sites in Sri Lanka named by RAMSAR. In Anawilundawa Wetlands you would be able to see birds types such as Cormorants, Ducks, Egrets, Herons, Storks, Eagles, Terns, Swallows, Swifts, Kingfishers and Other Resident birds
  • Overnight stay in Negombo

Day-09

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Transfer to Airport – 20 minutes drive approximately
